Rental Policies/Fees
Payment received will be considered your acknowledgment of, and agreement with, the following policies regarding the rental of Shenandoah Chalet.
Reservations/Payment
We prefer that reservations are made no later than two weeks in advance of the initial date of the intended stay. The total rental fee is due at the time of the reservation. A full refund less a $30 cancellation fee will be made if cancellation is one week prior to arrival date.
Cancellation/Refund
If you cancel after the one week prior to your arrival date you will be refunded one-half the total rental fee, less a $30 cancellation fee, EXCEPT on the following holiday weekends: New Year's Eve/Day (whenever it occurs), Christmas Eve/Day (whenever it occurs), Labor Day weekend, and Memorial Day weekend. OR, if you cancel on any of the scheduled days of your arrival, no money will be refunded, but you will be able to re-schedule another weekend/time period at no additional expense.
Other fees
Taxes amounting to 9% (for Page County and the State of Virginia) of the total rental fee will be added to your rental fee. If excessive clean up has to be done, other than ordinary use, a minimum of $35.00 or more will also be charged to your credit card.
LEGAL NOTICE: $50 fee for credit card chargebacks. If you chargeback you could also be responsible for legal fees and court costs.
